Felicia D. Plett
Felicia Plett is an associate attorney with Shoecraft Burton. She recognizes the importance of a litigation strategy to bring the best outcome to the case. She is a fierce advocate for her clients but brings a down-to-earth, practical approach. Her experience includes general civil litigation, business and contract law, construction law, and environmental compliance. Prior to her work at Shoecraft Burton, Felicia worked for Lepine Law Group where she argued and won numerous motions, and second-chaired two jury trials, in both state and federal court, bringing about favorable results for her clients.
Felicia is born and raised on a farm just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has a social work degree from Eastern Mennonite University and practiced social work for six years. Wanting to pursue her passion for advocacy, Felicia moved to San Diego to attend law school and never looked back. While in law school, Felicia received various recognitions for excellence including, Pro Bono Honors Society Award, Academic Excellence Certificate, Moot Court Competition Finalist, and Certificate of Distinction. She was President of the Environmental Law Society, and Secretary for Amnesty International Society, and now holds a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law.
