Stephanie M. Caloca
Stephanie Caloca is a native Spanish speaker who graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish Literature. Following undergrad, Ms. Caloca attended California Western School of Law where she worked in various legal settings assisting clients with a myriad of issues related to family, immigration, and criminal law.
Prior to joining Shoecraft Burton, LLP, Ms. Caloca practiced wildfire litigation where she facilitated over $20 million in settlements for her clients. Ms. Caloca brings her experience in civil litigation to Shoecraft Burton, LLP where her focus is on insurance defense and defense of insurers in bad faith and coverage matters.
Ms. Caloca is admitted to practice law in the state of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Additionally, she is a member of both Lawyers Club of San Diego and the San Diego chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
Ms. Caloca was born and raised in Imperial Valley County, California where her passion for equal access to academic resources and legal representation began.
Outside of the courtroom, Ms. Caloca’s interests include dogs, backpacking, being a Spartan (Aroo!), and spicy foods.
